1. What is Wise?

Wise is an online remittance platform, mainly provides cross-border money transfer and exchange services. Through our collaboration with Wise, uSMART (Singapore) can provide you with a better fund deposit experience.

 

2. What are the advantages of depositing funds through Wise?

Benefits you will get by using Wise's link on uSMART are:

- Faster to arrive than cross-border bank transfer.

- Lower transaction fees than cross-border bank transfer.

- Transfer local currency from your bank account, and directly credit USD/SGD into your uSMART account.

 

3. How to make a deposit through Wise's Link on uSMART?

(A) Go to "Trade > Deposit" on uSMART app

(B) Select the relevant currency (USD/SGD)

(C) Select Wise as your deposit method

(D) Link your Wise account with your uSMART account

* If you don’t have a Wise account, please register beforehand. After registration, return to the uSMART application and complete the steps. 

(E) Initiate a deposit and then confirm

* The deposit page will automatically reflect Wise fee, guarantee exchange rate and expected arrival time according to the currency and amount chosen. 

(F) Follow the instructions to initiate the transfer from your bank account

(G) Once you have transferred the money, please wait for fund to arrive.
